Term Classes

I currently teach four term classes at Willoughby Arts Centre in Sydney, each running across the school term. All classes welcome any medium and any level of experience — the titles are entry points, not limitations.

Seascapes — Mondays 9:30am–12:30pm

Portraiture — Mondays 1:30pm–4:30pm

Painting & Mentoring — Tuesdays 6:00pm–9:00pm

Still Life — Wednesdays 9:30am–12:30pm

Workshops

I run intensive one and two-day workshops across the year, currently hosted at Willoughby Arts Centre. Each workshop is open to all levels unless otherwise noted.

Colour Mixing & Tones — A systematic exploration of pigment, opacity, transparency and tone across the full history of painting. Suitable for all levels and all media.

Masterclass — A mentoring intensive focused on your own practice — your process, your vision, your breakthroughs. Open to all levels.

Portraiture — Drawing and painting the portrait from first principles, with an historical grounding in flesh tone and likeness.

Still Life — From traditional rendering to abstraction, working with composition, light and the full range of material possibilities.

Seascapes — Observational and experimental approaches to landscape and waterways, in any medium.
